Fabric Information
Kokanee Pet Apparel Coats use a Stretch Water-resistant Softshell fabric sourced from a Canadian fabric wholesaler. Softshell fabric was designed for outerwear, and to bridge the gap between a fleece, which offers less water resistance and protection from the wind, and a hard shell waterproof jacket which is less stretchy. It offers the best of both worlds between hardshell and fleece, providing both the breathability and stretch of fleece and the water resistance of a hardshell.
Ours is a Stretch Water Resistant Softshell, weighing 473 GSM (midweight) , a blend of 88% Nylon, 12% Spandex, and is lined with a 100% Poly-Fleece backing. We sourced bright colors for good visibility.
Adventure Coats are currently offered in 3 colors:
-Burnt Orange (lined in grey fleece/with yellow reflective stripe)
-Bright Green (lined in grey fleece/with yellow reflective stripe)
-Grey Camo (lined in turquoise fleece)
Best of all, this fabric is machine washable! So you dont have to worry about getting dirty during outdoor adventures. You can simply throw it in the washer. Hang to dry is recommended, but due to its water-resistance, Softshell dries fast.
